Q: Where are you located?
A: I am based in Miami, FL but I do travel to Fort Myers/SWFL (and the rest of the U.S.) for large groups and weddings. You can inquire at any moment about availability in the area.
Home Studio is located in Little Havana/Brickell area of Miami (zip code 33130).
Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: For all in studio appointments, use the "BOOK IN STUDIO" tab. You can see pricing, availability, and request appointments for approval. If you are unsure, please fill out our CONTACT FORM.
For all other out of studio appointments and services outside of Miami, fill out our CONTACT FORM. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response Monday-Thursday and a little extra time on the weekends.
Q: Is my deposit refundable if I am not able to make it to my appointment?
A: All deposits and balances are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Q: Is there a late fee if I am late to my appointment?
A: If you are 10+ min late, a fee of $15 will be applied to the service— if I am able to still service you. If you do not call you’re considered a no call no show and you will not be serviced. Due to booking, if time does not permit, you forfeit your deposit and will need to submit another deposit to book a new appointment. I am not obligated to service clients who are 15 mins or more late.
Q: I do not wear makeup very often. Does the price vary for very basic makeup?
A: All makeup applications area flat rate. The client may choose to skip any of the full-face makeup application steps, however this does not change the price.
Q: What payment methods can I use?
A: All deposits are paid via Venmo or Cashapp, but final balances must be paid in cash only.

Q: Do you come to me or do I go to you? What is your travel policy?
A: Bridal trials and most one on one appointments are held in my studio in Miami, FL.
Travel requests that are not for brides are not guaranteed for parties of less than 3 or when these requests conflict with already scheduled appointments/days, but options may be discussed.
Travel rates vary on location, mileage, time, tolls, etc. Flat travel rates have been set for your convenience on our travel fee sheet. Nationwide travel is available upon consultation.
Q: How long does the makeup last? If I have a long day, will it hold up?
A: Makeup will last the entire day until removed with makeup remover. A small lipstick touch up kit is also provided.
Q: Are Lashes Included?
A: Top strip lashes are included in your makeup application. Artist will supply lashes.
Q: Do you know how to control Dry/Oily skin?
A: Yes, I control each skin type properly for a long lasting, clean application of makeup
Q: What makeup brands do you work with?
A: I work with a variety of quality brands that work well with different complexions and skin types. To name a few I use: Too Faced, MAC, Urban Decay, Makeup Forever, Laura Mercier, Charlotte Tilbury, Huda Beauty, along with many other professional brands
Q: How long does hair and makeup take?
A: Hair take anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour and a half depending on the length, volume and texture of the person’s hair combined with desired style. Makeup takes about the same time; it all depends on the look the person is going for. Bridal makeup and hair usually takes up to an hour and a half each.
Q: Do you do airbrush? Which do you recommend, traditional or airbrush?
A: I currently do not offer airbrush makeup as I prefer the way traditional makeup application compliments all skin types and all makeup products. I guarantee a flawless and long lasting finish with traditional high definition cream or liquid foundations.
Q: Is a bridal trial required?
A: Trials are encouraged but not required. You may choose to book a trial BEFORE securing your date but a trial does not hold a date. Wedding dates are secured on a “first book first served” basis so this is up to your discretion.
My professional recommendation is that you book me if you love me, and we schedule a trial (should you wish to have one) sometime before the wedding to go over your look.
A trial shouldn't be to "see if you want to hire them." A trial is to nail down and makeup look and get a preview of what you'll look like on your wedding day.
If you choose not to do a trial, we will still schedule a video call to chat about wedding day details, get to know each other a bit and we will also exchange pictures and ideas.
Q: When should I schedule my bridal trial?
A: Trial “sweet spots” are (3) months before the wedding so that it is fresh in the client and artist's mind, but there is still enough time to make adjustments. A trial can be done at any point and any changes decided thereafter can be implemented the day of the wedding.
Q: If I have a trial booked, will my date be held?
A: Our policy is to honor the first contract/deposit we receive even if there is a trial scheduled with another bride. After your trial, you have three (3) days to let me know you'll be booking and pay your deposit with a signed contract. Once this is done, your date will be secured.
Q: What do I need to bring to the trial?
A: Bring at least (3) pictures of hairstyles and makeup looks that you envision yourself as. Please look for styles that have your same hair color and please keep in mind that pictures are used as inspiration, looks will not be 100% replicated. Lastly, Bring a picture of your dress and any accessories.
Q: How many looks can be done in the trial?
A: One look (one makeup and/or one hair style); we can make small tweaks though like change the lip or add some liner! Should a completely new look be requested, a new trial would need to be scheduled.
Q: How should my hair be for the day of the trial and wedding day?
A: Hair should be washed the night before, a small amount of conditioner to the ends and no other products added. Blow dry as straight as possible (not perfectly) and do not flat iron.
Q: How should my skin be for the trial/wedding day?
A: I will send you skin prep recommendations via email.
Q: Can I bring someone with me to the trial?
A: It is preferred that only bride to be comes to trial to ensure a more personal and intimate session between artist and client. No pets or children allowed
Q: Can I use my trial for my engagement pictures, engagement party or bridal shower?
Q: What if I need to add/remove services to the bridal makeup schedule?
A: I suggest sending the contract with the contracted date minimum. After that, you may update the number of people before the wedding (upon availability). If for any reason, fewer members require services on the day of the wedding, bride is responsible for full cost agreed to in contract.
Q: What time will you and your team arrive and what time will you start hair and makeup on the bride?
A: Final time of arrival is calculated at least one month to three weeks before the wedding day. It is done this way as time of arrival and completion of services are based on the photographer/videographer time of arrival and time everyone needs to be completely ready by. These are very long days and starts are early but so worth it!
Q: Do you work alone or do you bring someone with you?
A: Both. If I feel I need help, I will bring a talented artist(s) to help me if available. Simonet works with a great team of qualified makeup and hair stylists that accompany her to weddings whenever there is availability. However, team availability depends on notice and can be confirmed at time of inquiry/booking. Simonet can usually do 6 services on her own if time allows.
Q: How far in advance should I reserve my wedding day?
A: You may reserve your wedding day makeup and hair as early as you have your day set aside. It is recommended to book all your preferred vendors in advanced to lock in your date. Makeup and hair should definitely be top priority!
Q: What is needed to book my date and how do I book?
A: A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to book a wedding date.
Q: Are you always available for hair?
A: Simonet is equally great at hair but is known mostly for her specialty in bridal makeup. Although she personally offers wonderful hair styling services, for larger parties she may need to bring in a hair stylist. Availability for a hair stylist is dependent on artist availability at the time of inquiry.
Q: My hair does not seem to hold curl, what should I do?
A: I send out a list on how to prepare for hair before we meet and I prepare the hair with anti-humidity and high quality products, which help maintain curls. There are hair types that no matter what products or preparation methods are used, curls do not seem to last. In this case, I recommend an alternative style which we can discuss in person.
Q: I want to wear hair extensions, what brands do you recommend and how long should they be?
A: I recommend 100% real human hair from Sally’s beauty supply, Luxy, Bellami, Insert Name Here, and Amazon. Real human hair extensions can also be purchased at a variety of beauty supply stores. They should be about 5 inches longer than your hair and the color should resemble yours as best as possible. Extensions are to be provided by client.
